Spain just brought the game to within 2 points in the 4th quarter. Our boys just seem so damn lethargic by not going after the ball. The one true star so far is Dwayne Wade. The cause is probably the referees calling the game really tight. So far, Lebron has 4 fouls and Kobe has 3 fouls. The Spaniards are nailing practically all of their free throws.

A weak attempt by Kobe to steal the ball leads Rudy Fernandez to take the ball to the rim for a monster jam and the foul. Nasty!

103-95 with 4:22 remaining. U.S. is in the penalty. The Spaniards are putting some serious bodies in the paint and their guards have sweet handles too.

I think the refs was the U.S. to lose because Gasol just forearmed Bosh and no foul was called. On the next possession, Kobe nails a 3 and got fouled by Rudy (he fouls out at the same time). Kobe hits the free throw.

Fucking bullshit! Dwayne is tripped going into the lane and no foul is called. Spain hits a 3 coming down. However, Dwayne answers back with a 3 to bring the lead back up to 7 with 2:02 left.

The FIX could be in as the ref called Kobe for his 4th with a pussy body bump. Wide oped 3 by Spain misses and a monster rebound by Lebron. Kobe slashes and makes a runners.

113-105, 58 seconds. Chris Paul to the line with 47.7 seconds left. Makes both. 115-105.

115-107, 26.1 seconds. Two techs on Spain, unsportsmanlike and tech. Kobe shoots both free throw and cans it. Looking good.

I wonder what the line was in Vegas. Probably U.S. laying 15+.

They're celebrating yet but there's still 26.1 seconds. Chris Paul makes 1 of 2 shots for the foul on him. From the other fouls, U.S. gets the ball back.

Chris Paul loses the ball and Spain misses an easy breakaway because the guy goes for a reverse layup. Dwayne gets called for travel with 3.1 seconds left.

U.S. wins gold, 118-107.
